(Info4now: September 16, 2021)- If cricket has its own nature, it’s the call of nature. Every time a legend moves with his success journeys, he leaves behind special impressions in different stages of his career. And that journey starts providing indications of his personal moves. Now Virat Kohli to step down as India’s T20 captain after World Cup and it was nothing of surprise. He has been playing for India since 2008 and the fans and critics have enough ideas to accept that.

A very successful captain for India across formats, Virat, was badly in need of rest. And it’ll open a door for him not to make every game. While other players are going through rotation policy, he has no chance to skip the responsibility. If someone can handle the on-field pressure, he’ll either skip the T20 format or go through alteration.

He has fine experiences of being part of the World Cup winning side in 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy winning team in 2013. He started flourishing in test cricket immediately. Taking over the captaincy in 2014 ( 2016- shorter format) from a champion of champions who brought India three top ICC trophies and made India number 1 Test side, Kohli with his comrades started dominating all over the world. Their dominance in recent time in England draws the attention of the cricket world.

A magician with the willow is going through a busy schedule of cricket matches and the recent addition of bio-bubble due to pandemic adds no less strain to it. So it’s a good time to call it a day. He’ll continue to lead India in tests and ODIs and play in T20s as a batsman. He is the best across formats batsman of this globe. A terrific conversion of defence into attack is his style of leading and that motto in his batting should be brought back.
