A 38-YEAR-OLD police constable has been slashed at the face allegedly through a 24-year-old guy in Pune after the latter “failed” to get meals from an eatery that the constable requested to “close” for last open past the last time.

The police constable has been recognized as Sachin Uttam Jagdale (38), posted at Vimantal police station and the accused as Mahanandeshwar Batale, who hails from Tuljapur the city in Osmanabad district.
