Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Umran Malik, who has delivered the quickest ball in IPL 2022 to this point, shattered the wickets of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer in Fit 25 of IPL 2022.

Once Malik wiped clean up Iyer, SRH’s speedy bowling trainer Dale Steyn jumped off his seat and celebrated the wicket via giving a top 5 to spin bowling trainer Muttiah Muralitharan.

The incident came about at the ultimate ball of the tenth over. Iyer moved throughout to make room for taking part in a shot during the offside. Malik tracked Iyer’s motion and bowled a fiery yorker that went directly to hit the stumps like a tracer bullet.

Speaking about the results of the competition, SRH beat KKR via seven wickets to sign up their 3rd consecutive win of the season.

Batting first, the Iyer-led facet posted 175/8 at the board of their 20 overs. Nitish Rana (54 off 36) and Andre Russell (49 now not off 25) have been the primary individuals with the bat for KKR.

In answer, SRH chased the set goal in 17.5 overs, with Aiden Markram (68 now not out off 36) completing off in taste with again to again sixes. Rahul Tripathi (71 off 37) set the tone of the chase for SRH via finishing his half-century in fast time.
