(Info4Now)– Sunrisers Hyderabad played two matches in this IPL 2021 and still to find something for the table. Against Kolkata Knight Riders they failed to chase an 180+ and on winning the toss David Warner could have gone for batting first against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad have every chance to do better than what they messed up in the last two games. Mumbai Indians on the other hand somehow managed a game in their favour against all-time soft opposition KKR but are not in the best of their performance.

Preview of Match 9: Mumbai Indians vs SRH

In comparison to Mumbai Indians’ bowling line-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s is no less compact. Jason Holder has the ability to bowl very straight and his high-arm action on a comparatively slow track of Chepauk is always awkward for the batsmen. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a champion and he needs no introduction. T. Natarajan many a time is getting off his line and it’s his time to adhere to his strong zone and advance in a calculated way. With so many right hand batsmen in Mumbai camp, to Rashid Khan the wicket of Chennai might appear a bowling paradise. Shahbaz Nadeem has to bowl taking the longer side in his favour.

Hyderabad have a mixed batting line-up. Wriddhiman Saha’s form is a problem for Hyderabad. If they still go with him, he has to deliver something for the team. Warner needs to get back to consistency and against Mumbai he must fight hard. Manish Pandey, an excellent middle order for any side, must extend his score. Johnny Bairstow is just a match winner and he is one of the kings of white ball cricket. Riyan Parag and Holder are excellent finishers. Down the order Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan can also bat a little.

Though Mumbai Indians’ bowling unit did an excellent job in the last game, this year their bowling may face a setback if Hardik Pandya is not fit to bowl. In a difficult situation Mumbai will necessitate Hardik. Krunal Pandya is in rhythm and probably the wicket is suiting him well. Three pace bowlers are not fully disciplined, but skilled enough to take wickets in time and create pressure in a chase.

With the coming of Quinton de Kock a left-hand-right-hand combination is back at the top for Mumbai. Suryakumar Yadav is getting tougher and tougher for the bowlers as he continues to keep them guessing. So the fight between him and Rashid Khan will be worth watching. Pollard, the big man, is still to get his going. Ishan Kishan and Pandya brothers are experienced campaigners in the side and all are absolute game changers.

To Conclude

Mumbai are a top side but their performance should not be taken for granted. Every day a team go for a toss they need to perform against all odds thrown from the opposition. So loaded with a quality bowling unit Sunrisers Hyderabad will make it hard for MI. I think it’s a fifty-fifty game. No team has batted first with the coin’s favour. But I’ll never be surprised if a different approach is seen tomorrow.
