Info4now: The points table doesn’t always reflect the final four and it’s the beauty of a competition like the Indian Premier League. Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals just are slipping a bit confirming the confirmation is yet to come. Can KKR Stop Lucknow from taking away two points in KKR vs LSG first face off today at MCA? KKR have to win this game or leave the fight for the others.

Lucknow Super Giants will be happy to face KKR  with 14 points in the bag. They have ex Knight captain Goutam Gambhir in their camp and it’s an opportunity to handle pressure. But it’s a field game and KKR being psychologically very strong will throw to the opposition a tough challenge, the other side being the new franchise.

Preview: KKR vs LSG Match 53, IPL 2022

Kolkata Knight Riders will go with the same XI as to maintain the winning combination. Aaron Finch is completely out of touch and against Lucknow Super Giants Kolkata are badly in need of his fiery innings. It’s time for Shreyas Iyer and Russell to take responsibility in the middle. A reaffirmed Rinku Singh must be fearless so that he can continue to contribute for his team.

Bowling has been KKR’s main attraction since long. It’s either under Goutam Gambhir or under Dinesh Karthik and Morgan, they really did superb with the ball. Again in IPL 2022, bowlers like Russell and Umesh left no stone unturned to be accurate even on a batting wicket. As we expected Anukul Roy in the probable XI of the preview, he made his debut and impressed with his strict line.

Lucknow Super Giants have no problem in the opening. They have two quality openers who can take the game away from you quite silently. They maintain a fantastic left hand- right hand combination and in fine touch. At number 3, Deepak Hooda played an excellent innings in the last game. In the middle order it’s a bit inconsistent. Stoinis and Krunal Pandya are the top class finishers of the game, but KKR will not allow them to set, if they can hurry into that part.

They are rich in all-rounders. So it’s a long batting line up and full of great numbers of bowlers. Krunal Pandya and Marcus Stoinis can bowl at any stage of the game, while Jason Holder is very experienced. Ravi Bishnoi is quite successful this year, but must be more accurate. Avesh Khan will probably return to the side.

To Conclude

In between Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, Rahul is a bit nervous and it’s the only thing the Lucknow Super Giant camp should concentrate on. Kolkata is an experienced side and against them Rahul must try to be at home being fairly ahead on the table. At MCA, Kolkata hold a good record, but it’s the play of the coin again in KKR vs LSG contest as anyone will look for a chase.
