Info4Now(Kolkata)– What Indian National Congress lacks in the centre worst is a smooth transformation of leadership from Sonia Gandhi, Pranab Mukherjee and Manmohan Singh to a set of new enthusiasts and for long it was also a problem for Bengal Left Front. But it is in this poll that CPI(M) has brought a number of new faces to challenge both the central and state governments against the issues related to the new generation themselves. While at Nandigram it is considered to be the top battle between Mamata Banerjee and Shuvendu Adhikari, CPI(M) selects a thirty year old Minakshi Mukherjee to fight it from an absolutely different angle. While Shuvendu Adhikari is trying to solidify the Hindu votes completely taking the attention of people away from the failures of the BJP govt. in respect of a balanced economy and Miss Banerjee is leaving no stone unturned to prove that she is also for Hindus shaking off her ghomta, young Minakshi is at home to criticise the duo’s strategy of campaigning and is looking forward to taking one step ahead to take on the corruption issues in West Bengal and undemocratic situation in the country.

Aishe Ghosh, on the other hand, almost under thirty, is going to fight at the industrial belt of Jamuria, another tough constituency to fight. Though it’s the constituency where the Left Front dominated even in Mamata’s era, the time has changed and the fortress is just penetrated by the saffron group. It’s the belt where business has developed better than education. So how young Aishe, a JNU scholar impresses the public with the issues of jobs and recovery of industry and agriculture, is of interest, if not easy.

Apart from these two fantastic young leaders, there are a number of candidates like Shatarup Ghosh(Kasba) and Singur’s face Srijan Bhattacharya almost in their age group and also some in their early forties. Here in West Bengal, the Left Front is fighting the election with a mutual alliance with Indian National Congress and Indian Secular Front. In their election manifesto, they focus on the democratic environment of future India which will be free from privatization and joblessness.
