(Info4Now)– As we discussed in the last preview, India vs England, 4th T20, one must win the disfavour of the coin and regarding that India should cherish it before heading into the 5th T20 of India vs England series. Even when England were keeping it very tight, India took it to 185 in their first innings. While Suryakumar Yadav made a fine half-century in his maiden chance of batting, the scoreboard moved because of calculative Shreyas Iyer and Pant. And finally, they defended it with fabulous team effort.

England had a few issues to discuss. They were excellent with bowling and fielding. But they have to handle the slowers better. In the middle of their innings they started accelerating, but it was too late to become comfortable with the required run rate. Just when they had got their going, the stand-in Rohit Sharma with all his experience trapped Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan in back to back deliveries of Shardul Thakur to level the series 2-2.

Preview: Ind vs Eng, 5th T20I

Back to tomorrow’s match, India might be playing the same XI considering it a winning combination. Rohit Sharma and K. L. Rahul are still searching for runs. So if one of them succeeds to find their way, it’ll be an excellent start for India. Virat Kohli came to bat at No. 4 last time and I never think it’s a good decision. Though Suryakumar Yadav was spectacular at No. 3, it’s very important for Kohli to bat up the order. Suryakumar can go down to No. 4. Shreyas Iyer is in fine touch and taking the game away from the opposition. Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya can hit the ball straight away. Down the order, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur can also bat.

As Hardik Pandya successfully executed the plan of his bowling, it goes without saying that Kohli mustn’t be thinking about more bowling options. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is highly skilled in swinging the ball at slower pace and one of those great bowlers who are very disciplined on a dry pitch. Washington Sundar went for runs in the previous game, but still an important weapon for Kohli against lots of left hand strikers of English side.

As Jason Roy cannot extend his innings after scoring a 30+, the opening pair of England stumbles. Roy is really struggling against the slower deliveries. So he has to read the speed of the ball well before he hits. Dawid Malan comes to bat at an important slot of No. 3. But his failure to utilise that spot makes it hard for England. It’s important to see how the English camp deals with the matter. Eoin Morgan had the chance to finish things off in the last game, but he failed. He has to lead from the front if England want to take the series home. Moeen Ali is a probable replacement for Sam Curran. But as it’s getting tough to grip the ball in the second half, it may be brought out as a gamble.

Mark Wood and Jofra Archer are excellent at the start. They need to be disciplined only. Adil Rashid is very experienced in the limited over games. Ben Stokes is looking very fit, but needs support from the other side.

Conclusion

Both the teams have enough power either in bowling or in batting or in fielding and therefore, anyone from their side can become the man of the moment. It’s the series deciding match and one who will handle pressure better must have the last laugh. So even being easier to chase, a good score might be defended here.
