The Taliban start Day 1 in Afghanistan

Info4Now– Finally, Afghanistan Government collapses as the Taliban have captured Kabul and The Taliban start Day 1. The establishment of democracy which was slowly rising under the earlier Government with the help of America over the last 2 decades is now totally destroyed. The Islamic organization gives assurance that the lives and the property of Afghans will be protected. Despite of this assurance, a huge number of chaos can be seen all over this hilly country. Foreigners and Afghan citizens are desperate to leave the country. The whole world is shocked as they witnessed shocking disturbing visuals.

Panic in People

As the Taliban seize power in the Centre, the crowd start to gather in the airport and under the pressure of this crowd 5 were killed. Still, the people start to leave the country by grabbing a plane. As a result of that they fall down from the sky and die immediately. According to sources, Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani has fled to neighboring country Tajikistan.

The rise of Taliban becomes a headache for the United States as well as for other countries. And the main question comes up why America pick up their troops. The answer is not as simple as it looks like. America never went to Afghanistan to rule them.

A Look Back

Let’s have a look at the rising of Taliban over the last few decades. In 1988 president of the Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Najibullah signed a treaty known as the Geneva Accords with Pakistan on the principles of mutual relations, particularly non-interference in each other’s matters. America also agreed they will stop providing arms to Mujahidden if the Soviet Union retreat their troops from Afghanistan. Soviet Union kept their promised and retreated their soldiers in 1989. In 1990 Afghanistan was expressed in the form of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. But the civil war between Mujahideen and Afghanistan Government continued until 1992 and ended up as the Mujahideen won that. But inner conflict started in Mujahideen over the power. And a new rival Taliban came in font and overthrew Mujahideen in 1996 and established the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.

At first, Taliban gained some popularity among Afghans but as time passes they revealed their real face and started banning things like Cinema, TV, music, football, chess, education of girls above 10 years of age which were highly criticized all over the world. In September 2001 a terror attack took place in Twin Tower of America by the Islamic terror organization Al Qaeda and thousands of civilians were killed which forsaken the whole world. Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden claimed that it was a revenge for the torture that America was doing over the Muslims. Till then America was trying to take their revenge but the Taliban refused to handover the Al-Qaeda chief.

America started striking in Afghanistan with the help of Mujahideen’s Northern Alliance and outaged the power of Taliban in December 2001 and Hamid Karzi became the President, succeeded by Ashraf Ghani. In 2011 America was also able to kill Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan. America spent over 1 trillion US dollars in Afghan war and lost over thousand of soldiers.

Conclusion

In the present situation, America do not agree to expend more in the Afghan war. And the former President of USA, Donald Trump agreed to retrieve their soldiers. Present US President Joe Biden follows that and lifts up their troops from Afghanistan and the hope of Afghans to live in a democratic country now is in danger. The afghans are appealing to the world leaders to establish peace in Afghanistan. Let’s see what happens in the next few days.
