What is Freelancing?

Freelancing means, you can earn money while doing your work anywhere and any time with the help of computers and the Internet. Yes, it means you can earn money at any time, you just need a good internet connection. For Freelancing, you have to be self-motivated, self-organized, and self-employed.

What is Freelancer?

A Freelancer is a person who is self-employed, self-motivated, self-organized and is not committed to a particular employer who has to work from 10 AM to 6 PM.

There are two types of freelancers:

1. Independent: Here you can get a project or job directly from a client. You will get payment direct from your client, without any deduction.  You have to find a reputated website where you can make a profile to work on. Then you can apply for jobs. That’s all.

2. Agency: Agency is like a company, where a group of Freelancers work. A successful Independent Freelancer or anyone can make an Agency. If you join Agency then you are a part of that Agency. The agency will pick the job from clients and they will give you, Client will pay the agency and the agency will pay you after a few amounts of deduction. If you can’t establish yourself as an Independent Freelancer or you are not getting a job direct from the client then you can join with an Agency Freelancer.

Most of the Freelancers are like to work as Independent Contractor. I’ll recommend you to start your Freelancing career as Independent Freelancer.
