(Info4now)- Though Rajasthan lost the last game, it’s going to be a very tough contest for Kolkata Knight Riders in KKR vs RR second duel. They are completely at sea not only with their playing XI, but also in reading the opposition as a team. An unsettled Delhi stopped Kolkata from scoring a healthy score in the first innings and this is horrible for a champion team.

Rajasthan Royals will be very fine even after the loss against Mumbai Indians. In the last game, Rajasthan took Mumbai a bit lightly. They had a slow start and therefore they couldn’t recover well towards the end. But against Kolkata Knight Riders they must be back to their fluency.

Preview: KKR vs RR Match 47, IPL 2022

Jos Buttler is in terrific touch and he is playing with such an accuracy that he forces you to sit before a television set. With excellent footwork he is very sound in wrist movement. Along with Devdutt Padikkal, Buttler is setting the tone of the game almost in every game. Sanju Samson at No. 3 is just dangerous for Kolkata. Kolkata still without any left-arm orthodox or right-hand leg spinner. And players like Sanju Samson and Daryl Mitchell will face either a medium pacer or a comfortable off-spinner. Shimron Hetmyer’s presence in the middle makes the RR’s batting line stronger. Down the order, Riyan Parag and Ravichandran Ashwin can bat.

It’s a great bowling line for Rajasthan and somehow better than Kolkata this time. Trent Boult back in the side leads the pace while Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Sen are terrific in their duties. As Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal are playing as two frontline spinners with all their experiences, they have no problem of fifth bowling option.

The tournament is getting closer to playoffs and the fitness of Andre Russell is not a problem now. I think KKR will not experiment new for this game as they changed a lot in the last outing. So KKR must plan for Russell as a bowler who can bowl three overs at least. Aaron Finch and Venkatesh Iyer must open. It’s necessary to carry from the start. They have a long batting line up, down to Number eight, but the impact of this line is just dimmed in last few games.

To Conclude

At Wankhede today, Rajasthan, no doubt, will start with an edge over Kolkata and they have a far better chance to be in the fight of the first four. Kolkata have to recover from the hangover of continuous losses on the other side. The Riders will be badly hoping to win the toss as they aim KKR vs RR Match 47 as one that overturns their fortune.
