The Second Wave of Corona Virus in India

(Info4Now)– Though the rise of infections in the second wave of Corona virus in India can never completely target definite mismanagements from the end of the Government, the medical science can go with only the evidence of the poor attempts.Β  General misguidance from the Government of India was that “we have done well with our series of masterstrokes”. But how a masterstroke works without a mask, without social distance in religious and political gatherings is in question.

The lockdown in the first phase in 2020 came into action just after the economic slowdown and Kashmiri calm down. Whether the lockdown was planned or unplanned was not at issue for the majority of the Indians as the sheer deshbhakts were very familiar with the coining suffix ‘down’. The shutdown suddenly moved to Kanyakumari from Kashmir with the emergence of the novel coronavirus.

The Lockdown

The long lockdown for continuous 68 days could not control the increase of the virus. But we didn’t know how many had been affected if it would have not been done. So we can’t clearly criticize the lockdown. But the sudden decision to add to other masterstrokes left the people of India surprised. A crisis in social life took a major turn in the lives of people living outside their homes. Many died frightened, many died while returning homes on foot. People working in different private and public sectors lost their jobs and a few only succeeded to get back to their jobs.

The Unlock Phases

The most confusing things happened when India tried to get back to normalcy. The more the people became insincere, the lower became the graph of active cases. But it never completely dropped down as never did so in global states. People of India took such dropping in the graph as the end of droplet disease.

Election in Bihar:

The congregation inside Markaz Nijamuddin raised a hue and cry in some of the frontline media. But it remained the only thing that was in question for gathering. Then follow a number of different types of gatherings throughout the country having a direction of ‘have to’. This ‘have to’ takes another turn when Narendra Modi addresses the public for Bihar Election. People have to maintain social distance and wear masks. This ‘have to’ was not converted into fact as people listening to PM, never maintained social distance. Other leaders also put themselves in their PM’s shoes.

Second Wave of Corona Virus:

Health Minister’s hope for an endgame doesn’t live long as a Government always runs by it’s governance, not through lecture. As Mann ki Baat is always Mann ki Baat, never Kaam ki Baat, second wave storms into the system in the middle. With the apprehension of the second wave, the government was warned of precautions by the medical experts. But the election campaigns went on by several leaders of our country led from the front by the Prime Minister. Even when the second wave takes an upward turn in West Bengal, the Election Commission doesn’t take any action to restrict gathering. The ruling party defended the fact by saying that Maharashtra and Delhi were not going through any poll. Thus gatherings at Kumbh Mela, Road Safety Tournament were also welcome. It’s just ridiculous.

Forward: All Not Up to the Government:

If you are a Narendra Modi fan, you must not light on the torch only to join a ridiculous celebration, you rather listen to his advice on wearing masks and keeping distance. Whenever you don’t do this, they will not force you to do so, because they love gathering when they address you. They are the stars even not playing for the country or having no national award for making a good film. But still, they are the stars, being among your favourite leaders. They are the stars who mostly don’t tell you to take precautions at a rally. They are delighted on watching you gather for themselves. So it’s you who can save yourself. It’s your responsibility not to let the virus loose, not to transfer. Even when it appears something beyond control, it’s the self-protection that can prevent the spread for the time being.

Though a bit late, on account of negligence, the Government, must take necessary steps…..how they can guarantee 100% mask usage and mutual distance, how they can minimize the spread. If the shortage of oxygen and beds is a fearful experience, they have to curb the spread first. And if the Government tries it’s best, you have to join hands. Otherwise, it’s going to be tough and you can’t blame anyone. If you wish to get vaccinated, you protect yourself first and buy time.
